Date: Tuesday 21st August, 9:30am (sharp) start - 12.30pm
Trainer: Jenny Cameron
Venue:
Bond University, Building 1b,
Computer Lab 15 (Room number BLD1b_1_83)  Computer Lab 18 (Room number BLD1b_1_81)  *please note this change in location for the session*

For those looking to explore Endnote further than Bond Library's one hour introductory training, we have invited Jenny Cameron from Crandon Services to run some in-depth training. This 'Basics' session will be a hands-on workshop covering the basics of the EndNote program and the creation of bibliographies in documents. Topics include:

  • Creating an EndNote Library and manually adding references
  • Adding references from databases and other sources
  • Selecting bibliographic styles
  • Inserting references into Word documents
  • Searching and grouping references within an EndNote library
  • Creating bibliographies
  • Basic tips about managing libraries

This workshop is suitable for those who are new to EndNote, but will also interest more experienced trainers and researchers who would like a more detailed exploration of the basics of the program. This session is designed to complement the afternoon session, so you may consider attending both. This session is hands-on and Windows PCs are available in the room, but if you use a Mac or would prefer to work on your own laptop feel free to bring it along.

Bond students and staff who would like a briefer (one hour) introduction to EndNote are very welcome to attend the Bond Library training on 28 August. For other support or training feel free to contact your Faculty Librarian directly.

Please contact David Honeyman if you have any questions about this session dhoneyma@bond.edu.au
