Open Access Week: FAIR Data Presentation

The FAIR data principles1 (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) were drafted by the FORCE11 group in 2015. Since then, the principles received worldwide recognition as a useful framework for thinking about managing and sharing data in a way that enables maximum use and reuse. This presentation will be a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of each of the FAIR Principles and their application as well as some of the current tools and resources developed to support the Principles.

It will be of interest to researchers, librarians, postgraduate students and those who work with creating, managing, connecting and publishing research data and will cover the following:

This event is open to anyone at the University, but particularly of interest for Postgrads, Researchers and Librarians.


Join us for morning tea at 10am. The presentation starts at 10.30am.
